On Saturday 14th of September a 33 year old male from California died when he crashed with his wingsuit on the Brevent, Chamonix.
Apparently the man was the third wingsuit jumper of the afternoon when, at 15:30, he crashed on his flight down from Le Brevent.
Wingsuit base jumpers are required by law to notify the PGHM (mountain police) before any jump.
This is the third death from wingsuits this year in the immediate area.
